The CSCC mailing list is open to all. It is for announcements or discussion on any topic relevant to the CSCC.
A mailing list is a simple but effective idea for communicating with a group of people by email. Its ideal for getting information to people quickly. For example announcing cave closures. It can also be used for less urgent announcements or discussions on a current topic.
It works by maintaining a list of the email addresses of everyone in the group centrally on a list server. To email everyone on the list you simply email the list server. The list server will then forward your email to everyone on the list. You only have to remember the email address of the list server and not maintain a long list of email addresses yourself.
To join the mailing list click here and post the generated email. This will send an email to cscc-request @ lists.caves.org.uk with the word SUBSCRIBE in the body of the message. You will then be emailed further details.
To leave the mailing list click here and post the generated email.
Once you have joined the mailing list, you can post by sending your emails to cscc @ lists.caves.org.uk.
